The following investigation was conducted by SA ARNOLD J. KUTA:
On July 21, 1975, [REDACTED] also known as [REDACTED] [REDACTED], De Witt, Iowa, phone [REDACTED] was contacted at D & J Refrigeration Service, 907 6th Avenue, De Witt, Iowa, and advised as follows:
On [REDACTED] [REDACTED] and because he had been interested in talking to [REDACTED] and wanted the opportunity to talk to [REDACTED] [REDACTED] contacted ROBERT MAXIM LA FONTAINE, phone 206- 537-5574, and spoke to LA FONTAINE very briefly and then [REDACTED] Her only actual conversation with LA FONTAINE on this occasion was to speak to him briefly to let him know [REDACTED] wanted to speak to him.
This was the first time she had any contact whatsoever with ROBERT LA FONTAINE since the Fall of 1974.
Subsequent to prior contact with the FBI, she recalled LA FONTAINE had indicated he was a patient in a Veterans Hospital on a couple of different occasions.
