On October 6, 1976, [REDACTED] Clerk, Grand Forks Police Department, Grand Forks, North Dakota, and ESTELLE BJERKE, Grand Forks County Sheriff's Office, Grand Forks, North Dakota, advised they could locate no record in their respective files identifiable with VERNUCE ALBERT HOFFKE.

On October 8, 1976, Lieutenant WALLACE JOHNSON, Detective Division, Grand Forks Police Department, Grand Forks, North Dakota, advised that the name VERNUCE ALBERT HOFFKE is not familiar to him. Lieutenant JOHNSON said he would conduct inquiries with other members of the police department and would notify the FBI should he receive any information concerning HOFFKE and an Indian associate of HOFFKE.

On October 12, 1976, [REDACTED] Chief Deputy, Grand Forks County Sheriff's Office, Grand Forks, North Dakota, advised that VERNUCE ALBERT HOFFKE is unknown to him.

On October 28, 1976, GENEVIEVE EIDER, Manager, Credit Bureau of Grand Forks, Grand Forks, North Dakota, advised that the records of her Bureau contain no information identifiable with VERNUCE ALBERT HOFFKE.

On October 28, 1976, a computerized inquiry through the Division of Motor Vehicles, Bismarck, North Dakota, located no record of a VERNUCE ALBERT HOFFKE.

Minneapolis is placing this matter in an RUC status.
