RICH SHUPERT, Chief of Police, Cle Elum, Washington, advised on 12/8/75, that he saw an individual in his town during the first week of December, 1975, who closely resembled the artist's conception of DAN COOPER, the UNSUB in this case.
SHUPERT stated that this individual had rings on both of his hands which appeared to be quite valuable as well as he was wearing what appeared to be expensive clothing. This individual was driving a fancy Mercury with Washington license DKK 055.
SHUPERT stated that this comes out to a 1975 Mercury registered to WILLIAM J. SULLIVAN, JR. of 646 S.W. 145th, Seattle, Washington.
SHUPERT stated that he has no information other than this person is a close look-alike to the artist's conception (without glasses) of the UNSUB in this matter.
WILLIAM J. SULLIVAN is not listed as a suspect in this case.
