SPC FRANCIS E. ENTLER

NORJAK

Mr. Ken Smith, P.O. Box 862, Morton, Washington, tel. no. 496-5815, telephonically contacted this offic3e with the following information:

Smith advised that one Don W. Clark, a resident of Morton approximately 3-4 years ago, strongly resembles the composite drawing of the NORJAK subject. Clark lived in Morton and worked as a bookkeeper for a now defunct logging firm. While residing in Morton Clark was a "high roller" and liked to gamble. Smith described him as living beyond his means as a bookkeeper.

Don W. Clark reportedly moved to Morton from Argentina with [redacted - b6/b7C]. Immediately following the skyjacking [redacted - b6/b7C] Clark returned to Argentina. Following the bankruptcy of the logging firm Clark is thought to have moved to California and his movements from there are unknown.

Smith advised that he knew Clark for only a short time but did not think him to be a skydiver. He also advised that he had never heard Clark talk of the skyjacking or anything related to it.

Smith stated that he has been considering Clark as a suspect for quite a while but had never contacted the FBI. He stated that he has additional information which he considers of interest to the FBI and is desirous of meeting and talking with an agent.
