RE: SUB LESTER F. REILLY

Re Seattle letter to Newark, 7/1/75.

For information of Seattle, on 5/29/75, Mrs. TRUDY LEVIS, age approximately 60, 1533 Berlin Road, Cherry Hill, New Jersey, advised that after seeing a recent newspaper article concerning D. B. COOPER, the alleged hijacker, in the Philadelphia Inquirer, she believed a roomer in her home might be COOPER. She said the man in her home, LESTER F. REILLY, is a mysterious person who refuses to divulge his background to Mrs. LEVIS. She said the sketch in the newspaper of COOPER resembled REILLY.

REILLY was subsequently interviewed on 6/2/75, as set forth in referenced letter. REILLY did not resemble drawings of COOPER contained in Newark files and there appeared to be no irregularities or inconsistencies in REILLY's past to indicate he was involved in the hijacking.

Newark contemplating no further investigation in this matter.
