FROM : SAC, SEATTLE (164-81) (P)

SUBJECT: NORJAK (A) OO: SEATTLE

Enclosed for the Alexandria Division is one (1) copy of an FD-302 reflecting interview with TAVE COFFELT dated 5/19/78, and one (1) copy of WFO teletype to the Bureau dated 8/2/77.

For the information of the Alexandria Division, JACK COFFELT has been suggested as a suspect in this matter and has been processed and eliminated. The television show "60 Minutes" is interested in doing an expose' in which they claim the FBI is covering up the fact that COFFELT is really identical to Unsub in this matter.

According to COFFELT's wife, they were living at 4208 South 12th Road, Arlington, Virginia, on November 24, 1971, the date of captioned hijacking. Living in an adjacent building was an attorney [redacted] [redacted] Arlington, Viriginia.

The COFFELTs allegedly lived at the Bancroft Apartments and had telephone number 521-4655.

In order that it might be possible to answer some of the questions that "60 Minutes" might come up with prior to their "60 Minutes" segment on JACK COFFELT, the following leads are set out. [redacted block, marked b6/b7C]
