At 12:54 PM, 11/30/76, [redacted] FBI Labora- tory, telephonically advised of the following as it per- tains to the examination of the trousers submitted on 11/23/76.

The laundry tag, although it is partially disintigrated contains what is believed to be a complete serial number A-317, however, a portion of this serial number area was disintigrated and there could possibly be an additional digit in front of the 317. In addition, there is writing "one" and the partial letters "MARTI" which [redacted] believes could possibly be the One Hour Martinizing cleaning and would be a good possibility for further investigation regarding the trousers.

The waist on the trousers measures 42" with an inseam of 31".

He stated that the serology examination regarding body fluids is still being conducted and we will be advised of the results when completed. He further stated that there is no way that the Lab can tell as to how long the trousers were in the area but from general appearances it is not believed that they have been there five years, however, there is no test that can be run to give the exact length of time the trousers were in the tree.

[redacted] advised that the Lab report will be forth- coming but he wanted to furnish the above inforamtion for our investigative leads.
