Re Little Rock teletype to Director, 9/1/77.

On 9/16/77, GEORGE WHEELER [REDACTED] were contacted at the University of Arkansas after several attempts had been made to contact them earlier. WHEELER stated that he is very difficult to contact at home inasmuch as the collegiate football season has started and he is quite busy [REDACTED] stated that she is only in Fayetteville, Arkansas, from Friday morning until Monday afternoon.

[REDACTED] stated that he had finally told [REDACTED] were planning any further contact with them until the FBI gave them an indication that it was proper to reinstate the contact with the [REDACTED] was advised that the FBI was not trying to control his [REDACTED] activities, however, in the interest of justice it was hoped that he and [REDACTED] would refrain from entering into any [REDACTED] contracts until after the case had been disposed of.
