They both agreed that if BRENNON was involved in such a caper, he would be just the one to think of using this alias. He stated that BRENNON is the daredevil type and once jumped out of an aircraft with only his reserve parachute just to prove a point of his daring to the other men.

[REDACTED] stated that he did not go to the FBI with this information inasmuch as [REDACTED] stated he had discussed this with the FBI and had furnished all information regarding his knowledge of DON BRENNON. [REDACTED] further related to him that he had furnished BRENNON's name as a possible suspect in this matter when he was interviewed by the FBI. Both he and [REDACTED] agreed that if there was such a thing as a statute of limitations on the crime, and BRENNON had been involved, he would brag publicly about it upon expiration of the statute of limitations. He was just that type of individual. Further, the artist conception of D. B. COOPER that was circulated just after the crime was very, very similar to BRENNON's appearance.

[REDACTED] informed that in the event BRENNON has not been checked out by the FBI and additional information might be sought regarding him, he would be able to furnish the names of other individuals who were acquainted with and had knowledge of DON BRENNON. One such individual who comes immediately to his mind is [REDACTED] who is now employed by BLM at [REDACTED] Winthrop, Washington.

[REDACTED] reiterated that his reason for not coming forth with this information was as he had related; merely that it was discussed openly between himself and other people, and he was told that it had been reported to the FBI.
