Enclosed is a tape made by radio station [REDACTED], Seattle, Washington, on 1/14/72, of a male who contacted the station between 7 and 8 PM, saying that he wanted to make a statement about the hijacking over the air. [REDACTED] told the caller, whom he thought was a young male, approximately 20 years old, that it would be impossible to put a person on the air but that he would make a tape recording of the caller's message. [REDACTED] then recorded a statement in which the caller said he had committed the hijacking and had been flown out of the area by an accomplice and that the hijacker had sustained an ankle injury.
