OPTIONAL FORM NO. 10 MAY 1962 EDITION GSA FPMR (41 CFR) 101-11.6 UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Memorandum

TO : SAC, SEATTLE (164-81) DATE: 4/7/72

FROM : SA [REDACTED] [REDACTED]

SUBJECT: NORJAK

RE: [REDACTED] SUSPECT

---

[REDACTED], Seattle, Wash- ington, was contacted on April 3, 1972, and he advised that while serving in the Marine Corps he worked with a man by the name of [REDACTED] who he feels resembles the artist's sketch of the hijacker. [REDACTED] last saw [REDACTED] in 1962 while serving in the Armed Forces in Japan. [REDACTED] exhibited a picture of the subject that he had in pictorial essay of the Marine Corps [REDACTED] [REDACTED] in Japan. [REDACTED] facial features did resemble that of the artist's sketch, however, physical features showed a marked difference. [REDACTED] described [REDACTED] as follows:

Hair Sandy blond Height 5'6-8" Build Slight Weight 125 Age [REDACTED]

[REDACTED] thinks [REDACTED] originally came from either Oregon, Washington, Montana or Idaho. [REDACTED] relationship with [REDACTED] was that of a co-worker and could not be considered friends. In view of the fact that [REDACTED] description does not fit that of the hijacker, it is felt that continued investigation in this matter is not warranted.
