On 7/27/72, [REDACTED] was interviewed at his residence, [REDACTED] California. [REDACTED] advised he recalls being with [REDACTED] at the [REDACTED] in Santa Monica, California, on 11/24/71. [REDACTED] specifically recalled having invited [REDACTED] to have Thanksgiving dinner with them on the following day at his, [REDACTED] home in Lakewood, California. He recalled [REDACTED] had declined the invitation stating he was flying out of town. He stated [REDACTED] had stated he was flying either to Phoenix, Arizona, or to Costa Rica and would be out of town on 11/25/71.

[REDACTED] advised he quite possibly drove [REDACTED] to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), on the morning of 11/25/71; however, he does not positively recall that he had done so. He explained that he has often driven [REDACTED] to LAX on his business trips out of Los Angeles and he, in all likelihood, did so on 11/25/71, but could not state this positively.

[REDACTED] continued stating he has observed the artist's conception of the hijacker in both "Look" magazine and "Stag" magazine and in his opinion the drawing definitely does not resemble [REDACTED]. He added he considers himself a very close friend of [REDACTED] and has never known him to ever have parachuted or even considered parachuting at any time. He said [REDACTED] entire disposition would make him, [REDACTED] extremely doubtful as to whether [REDACTED] would be capable of such a crime as he is a very nervous person even as a passenger on a plane and is not at all athletically inclined.

[REDACTED] stated that he, as a pilot, would be the last to condone any type of hijacking and if he had any knowledge or suspicion that anyone, including [REDACTED] was involved in such a matter he would readily cooperate with the FBI.
