RE: [REDACTED]
On 7/27/72, Sheriff RICHARD NICHOL of Chelan County
called and advised that he had talked to a [REDACTED]
who he suspects either lives in Renton or Everett, and
who owns some vacation property near Lake Wenatchee,
Washington. Sheriff NICHOL describes [REDACTED] as a
[REDACTED] but not with-
standing has on numerous occasions in the past furnished
Sheriff NICHOL some substantial information in the criminal
field. He advised that the suspect was born and raised
around [REDACTED] Washington. He has [REDACTED]
who lived in that immediate vicinity by the [REDACTED].
He is a skydiver and formerly worked for an airlines that
uses Boeing 727s. Evidently [REDACTED] is the object of
substantial inquiry among some hoodlum elements that
are endeavoring to establish whether he actually is the
skyjacker of the airlines as he looks somewhat like the
sketch and if so to rip off the $200,000 or what remains
of it.

LEAD
An investigation should be conducted to establish
[REDACTED] whereabouts and whether he answers the description
and whether he could have been the skyjacker.
