On 11/21/72 [REDACTED] Longview, Wn. [REDACTED b6/b7C] (telephone) was contacted re captioned matter at his request. [REDACTED] and retired and has maintained [REDACTED] Washington for some time and is very familiar with the territory in that eastern section of Lewis County, Washington. He advised that he has [REDACTED] [REDACTED] would gives him more familiarity with the wooded and rural area.

[REDACTED] pointed out that starting about March, 1972 he has, on a number of occasions during weekends, observed a white color, small foreign car of some type bearing British Columbia license (first three digits unknown) with the last three numbers [REDACTED] on the roads in the east end of Lewis county. He stated the individual in this car is a WMA, about late 30s to early 40s in age, 5'10-5'11W tall, slim build, 150-160 pounds, rather dark and swarthy complexion, dark hair combed straight back. He advised that this man has been seen parked in the area mentioned and at other times out of his car seemingly searching for something.

[REDACTED] advanced a theory that the man in the foreign car could well be searching for the attache case used by the sky jacker and perhaps the sky jacker did in fact leave the hijacked aircraft before the time the plane was over the area which has been searched.

He stated that he will continue attempts to secure the full license plate and will call this information to the Seattle office.

It is suggested that steps be taken to identify the registered owner of the above mentioned vehicle through liaison with British Columbia authorities. Further the name of [REDACTED] is to be indexed in Seattle Division in order that ready reference may be had to his name in the event he should recontact the Seattle Division.
