Dear Sirs:
On December 27, 1972 our Longview paper carried a recent FBI drawing of D.B. Cooper. - skyjacker who hijacked a plane on November of 1971.
After studying the drawing carefully and reading the description I am led to believe that it may actually be a former neighbor of mine from North Dakota named [redacted].
During July of this past year I visited [redacted] North Dakota. Information from [redacted] revealed that [redacted] at that time was considered [redacted] had been residing in Fargo, North Dakota [redacted]. On one evening - the exact date of which I am not sure [redacted] left the house and was last seen [redacted] in Fargo where he supposedly [redacted] stated that no-one had seen or heard anything from him since [redacted].
Information as I can recollect was that [redacted] had just recently been involved [redacted] and shortly before his disappearance [redacted]. Prior to that he had worked as an [redacted]. He is about 28 years old, brown hair (receding hairline) and brown eyes.- about 5'8 or 5'9'' and from the last picture I saw would judge his weight at about 170 or 180.
I hope that this information may be helpful. In the event that you should wish to contact me I can be reached by phone at [redacted]
Sincerely, [redacted]
