Re Memo of SA [REDACTED], 12/27/72
On 1/26/73 [REDACTED] Pacific National Bank of Washington, Chehalis, Washington advised that he had received his copy of the booklet re serial numbers of bills in captioned matter. He stated that the $800 in $20 bills were all checked against the serial numbers in the booklet with negative results. He pointed out that the abnormal number of $20 bills aroused the suspicion of [REDACTED] at the bank.
[REDACTED] was also contacted and [guess: explained] that the individual who made the $800 deposit was [REDACTED] who is about 40 years old, an old depositor at the bank, but one who has never had such a large sum of money in his account before. He is a white male, 6'1" tall, dark hair, bushy and full head of hair and extremely blue eyes which she is sure are not blue contact lenses. She viewed two photos of unsub (composite drawings) and stated there is no resemblance to the sky jacker in the physical makeup of [REDACTED]
In view of completely negative information re bill serial numbers of $800 in 20s and physical description and no identification effected through the photos viewed no further investigation is warranted in this matter.
