RE: [REDACTED]

---

[REDACTED] originally suggested as a suspect by an individual identifying himself as [REDACTED] telephoned the Spokane RA on January 4, 1972, and confided that a woman friend he has known for five years suspects [REDACTED] of being identical with unsub.

[REDACTED] admitted that an unidentified woman friend primarily suspected [REDACTED] of being a good suspect because of the similarities of the names - D.B. COOPER vs. [REDACTED] and because [REDACTED] was previously a Marine Paratrooper and an armed demolitions expert.

---

On August 22, 1972, [REDACTED] Selective Service file was reviewed by SA [REDACTED] and the following descriptive information concerning [REDACTED] was obtained:

Name: [REDACTED] b6 Date of Birth: [REDACTED] b7C Height: 5' 7" Weight: 165 pounds Complexion: Ruddy Hair: Gray Eyes: Blue Characteristics: [REDACTED]

---

[REDACTED] /64-81-4/9/

In view of the fact that the primary reason for considering [REDACTED] a suspect is the similarity between his name, [REDACTED] and that of D. B. COOPER, a name which has no bearing in this matter, and in view of the fact that [REDACTED] is 5' 7", ruddy complexion, gray hair, blue eyes, and [REDACTED] is no longer being considered a suspect.

ARMED AND DANGEROUS
