Re subject [REDACTED] re memo of SA [REDACTED] on February 21, 1973.
On March 15, 1973, [REDACTED] Renton, Washington, advised that he recalled seeing [REDACTED] approximately 20 years ago and at that [REDACTED] said he has not seen [REDACTED] since then but recalls him as resembling the composite drawing of COOPER with sunglasses which appeared in the PI shortly after the hijacking. [REDACTED] said the color composite of COOPER does not resem- ble [REDACTED] as much and the composite of COOPER without sunglasses even less resembles [REDACTED]
[REDACTED] met [REDACTED] [REDACTED] and saw him frequently until the early 1950s. [REDACTED] said [REDACTED] was a very "wild type of person" who always wore sunglasses, was [REDACTED] and very familiar with the area COOPER reportedly flew over. [REDACTED] said he never knew of any illegal activities com- mitted by [REDACTED] but remembers him as the type of person who wanted money without working for it.
[REDACTED] said he had no reason to suspect [REDACTED] other than his resemblance to COOPER'S drawing as he remembers him 20 years ago. He added that [REDACTED] mentioned seeing [REDACTED] approximately two years ago in Renton but knew nothing about [REDACTED] background, family, residence, activities, or present whereabouts. He added [REDACTED] would be about 50 years old now and as he remembered him 20 years ago, was approximately 5'10" tall, 140 pounds,
