RE: [REDACTED]
Re Seattle letter to Newark, 7/1/75.
For information of Seattle, on 5/29/75, [REDACTED] Cherry Hill, New Jersey, advised that after seeing a recent newspaper article concerning D. B. COOPER, the alleged hijacker, in the Philadelphia Inquirer, she believed a roomer in her home might be COOPER. She said the man in her home, [REDACTED] [REDACTED] is a mysterious person who refuses to divulge his background to [REDACTED]. She said the sketch in the newspaper of COOPER resembled [REDACTED].
[REDACTED] was subsequently interviewed on 6/2/75, as set forth in referenced letter. [REDACTED] did not resemble drawings of COOPER contained in Newark files and there appeared to be no irregularities or inconsistencies in [REDACTED] past to indicate he was involved in the hijacking.
Newark contemplating no further investigation in this matter.
