For the information of New York Division, contact has been made telephonically by Seattle with the Royal Globe Insurance Company in New York as they are the insurance company that paid Northwest Orient Airlines approximately $180,000 as a result of captioned crime. As a result of that contact it was learned that Royal Globe has been receiving some inquiries from pri- vate citizens regarding a reward in this matter.
In an effort to follow up every lead in this important case, liaison was established by the Seattle Division to insure that any contact that Royal Globe Insurance Company receives is promptly forwarded to the FBI.
