Re Seattle report of SA [REDACTED] dated 5/30/73.
On 4/11/77, [REDACTED] for the Seattle Post Intelligencer advised that he received a long distance phone call from [REDACTED] (PH) of Russellville, Arkansas, who wanted to know if the Seattle Post Intelligencer was still offering a $5,000 reward for the arrest and subsequent conviction of D. B. COOPER.
[REDACTED] also advised during this telephone call that he had been a Sheriff in Russellville for eight years and when [REDACTED] advised him the Post Intelligencer no longer offered the reward, [REDACTED] wanted to know if Northwest Airlines was offering a reward. [REDACTED] advised [REDACTED] that he did not know and then attempted to question [REDACTED] as to what information he had. [REDACTED] refused to comment.
