knowing about the S.W. pictures. [REDACTED] Joe Cooper, ran away and left his family in Wilmington, N.C. in 1942. He was not heard from again untill he was killed in a car wreck in California. I think this was the mid. 50s Any way [REDACTED] Joe [REDACTED] had left to his wife Lizzie here in Wilmington. The [REDACTED] [REDACTED] I have never been very close to the family except [REDACTED] Lizzie, who died in the late 50s. So I didn't know [REDACTED] [REDACTED] untill about a year ago. (I have known him three years) He is nerveous, very watchful, he turns his back to the wall, and always faces the door. If an officer comes in he is tense and uptight untill he leaves. All the time pulling at his beard. He never pulls his jacket or hat [over]
