Sub # [REDACTED] Unsub; source: [REDACTED]

---

On 9/26/78, [REDACTED] Tulsa, Oklahoma, advised that in September, 1972 [REDACTED] in Curtis, Washington. The [REDACTED] owned property adjacent to [REDACTED] Chehalis, Washington, whom [REDACTED] was introduced to on one occasion.

[REDACTED] learned from the [REDACTED] that [REDACTED] [REDACTED] appeared to be well to do and allegedly left the country on frequent trips, being away for several days and weeks at a time. [REDACTED] described [REDACTED] as a white male, about [REDACTED] years old at that time (1972), 5'10", 170 - 180 pounds, average build.

---

He stated after these many years, he thought that [REDACTED] might be identical to UNSUB, aka DAN COOPER, who hijacked the Northwest Orient plane during that time. He said [REDACTED] would be familiar with the type of plane involved; since he lived in that area, would know the terrain and location where to parachute; he appeared well to do, and he left the country quite frequently which would have given him the opportunity to "launder" the money obtained during the hijacking.

---

[REDACTED] advised that he has absolutely no other indication that [REDACTED] could be identical to UNSUB and is basing his belief only on the one contact with [REDACTED] and limited information obtained from the [REDACTED]

[REDACTED] advised he is furnishing this information
