Re Las Vegas investigation at Stateline, Nevada, entitled [REDACTED]; [REDACTED] Bufile b6 b7C
During the recent arrest of [REDACTED] b6 Et Al at Fresno, California, concurrent with investigation b7C at Stateline, Nevada, in [REDACTED] the following information was obtained:
[REDACTED] Harvey's Resort b6 Hotel and Casino, Stateline, Nevada, telephone [REDACTED] b7C advised SA [REDACTED] of the Las Vegas Division, that near the end of August 1981, as a result of news coverage of the arrests of the [REDACTED] suspects, that an older man contacted Harvey's by long distance from Oklahoma and stated he believed that he knew the identity of D. B. Cooper.
The caller identified himself to the Harvey's switchboard as [REDACTED] Norman, b6 Oklahoma, telephone [REDACTED] He indicated the recent b7C press releases re [REDACTED] arrests "jarred" his memory and that a former neighbor [REDACTED] aka [REDACTED] who lived across the street of his old address of [REDACTED] Portland, Oregon, he believes is identical to the hijacker.
