The following investigation was conducted by SA [REDACTED] on June 3, 1983:
[REDACTED], House of Bedrooms, 1716 South Telegraph, West Bloomfield, Michigan, telephone [REDACTED] current address, [REDACTED] Kingsville, Ontario, Canada, mailing address, [REDACTED] Taylor, Michigan, was contacted at his place of employment, House of Bedrooms.
[REDACTED] was advised that FBI, Detroit, had received information indicating that he was D. B. COOPER, and that he was the hijacker of a plane approximately 10 years ago. Also, that [REDACTED] travels to Florida, where the hijack money is kept.
[REDACTED] stated that he, while drinking or maybe through talking in his sleep, may have told something to a [REDACTED] but he did not recall what it was. [REDACTED] did not recall the details of what was said to her. [REDACTED] stated that he and the [REDACTED] [REDACTED] and she may have called and either did or did not make up the story about the hijacking. [REDACTED] stated that, "If I did do it, I wouldn't tell anybody".
[REDACTED] stated that he had worked for Universal Airlines for several years, and while he was in the U.S. Army, had some airborne training. [REDACTED] said he does travel to Florida a good deal, the last time, about March-April, 1983, and goes to Key West, Key Largo, and Marathon, Florida. [REDACTED] said that he loves boating, and he intends to retire in [REDACTED] and move to Marathon, Florida.
[REDACTED] stated that he was not D. B. COOPER, and he never hijacked any airplane. [REDACTED] appeared cooperative and provided the following descriptive information:
