Annotation indicating this letter should be read first, likely added by FBI personnel. Handwritten letter from an individual in Walla Walla, Washington, apparently claiming knowledge related to the D.B. Cooper case. The writer asks the recipient to read and respond, states they only want money for medication, refuses to answer questions from law enforcement at Walla Walla because they 'can't keep their damn mouth shut,' and claims they could identify a pilot if shown a photograph without hats. FBI FOIA exemption codes b6 (personal privacy) and b7C (law enforcement - personal privacy) indicating why redactions were applied. FBI case reference number and document tracking identifier.

Handwritten letter, mostly legible but some words are difficult to decipher
Multiple redaction boxes obscure name/address information
Two hole punches at top of page
Annotation '(Read First)' at top in different hand
