Re October 26, 1987 memo from SA [REDACTED] to SAC, SEATTLE concerning [REDACTED]
On February 2, 1988 [REDACTED] was contacted at the CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE located in Vancouver, Washington. [REDACTED] did not have available her complete file on [REDACTED] but indicated that she could provide a booking photograph of the subject from 1981, which she did. [REDACTED] also mentioned that in a 1981 search that she conducted at [REDACTED] house, [REDACTED] in Vancouver, Washington she found a newspaper article dated November 24, 1976 from the "Columbian" which showed a front page story concerning the D. COOPER hijacking. [REDACTED] also mentioned that during that same search when looking inside a safe in [REDACTED] house she noticed large sums of cash. [REDACTED] stated that she did not record any of the serial numbers and did not remember what the denominations of the cash or the amount was. [REDACTED] felt that because of the low value of the residence and the squalid conditions she found it highly unusual and strange for a person of [REDACTED] economic background to be in possession of this much cash. Again [REDACTED] could not recall if she even counted money to determine the exact amount. [REDACTED] stated it was not part of the search warrant and that she left it. Subsequent to the search [REDACTED] was arrested and later convicted of [REDACTED] [REDACTED] was recently released from prison and is now residing in the Vancouver, Washington area.

Reviewing the photograph of [REDACTED] provided by [REDACTED] it is the investigating agent's opinion that there is little resemblence between [REDACTED] photograph and the artist's conception of the hijacker who extorted $200,000.00 from the NORTHWEST AIRLINES on November 24, 1971. [REDACTED] photograph depicts a distinct crease in the center of his chin which forms a double chin which is not reflected in any of the artist conceptions
