[REDACTED] did not have any real tattoos; but she did recall he had one [REDACTED] [REDACTED] She described [REDACTED] as being about 5'10" and about 230 pounds, noting that he used to weigh about 175 in 1980, when they first met. He has partially-balding brown hair and blue eyes, and has a [REDACTED] [REDACTED] He is of [REDACTED] extraction; and hardly ever drank (only occasionally). He did not use any drugs, but was very fond of gambling. To her knowledge, he never used any other names.
[REDACTED] stated she has seen artist sketches of COOPER, but could not see any resemblance, especially since [REDACTED] was bearded during the entire time [REDACTED] She did add that he is a [REDACTED] and he has a [REDACTED] with [REDACTED] She did vaguely recall from a past hunting photo of [REDACTED] taken prior to [REDACTED] that [REDACTED] was clean-shaven and very slender (about 130 pounds) with a narrow face. She had no idea where this old photo might be.
During October, 1987, as a result of telephone conver- sations with the Newark Division of the FBI, copies of [REDACTED] arrest photo from [REDACTED] arrest as well as the "official" artist's conception sketch from a 1971 Seattle informational bulle- tin letter regarding the hijacker who extorted $200,000 from NORTHWEST AIRLINES on November 24, 1971 were received for the purpose of recontacting [REDACTED] about a possible resemblance.
On November 3 and later on November 24, 1987, [REDACTED] advised, upon viewing the [REDACTED] arrest photo and the 1971 sketch, that there did appear to be an uncanny strong resemblance between the two. She added that [REDACTED] hair (per her recollection) had no part, as he had lost most of the top portion of his hair by 1980. She commented that if he ever part his hair, it would be on the left.
According to [REDACTED] smoked heavily--about three packs a day, regularly--up to March, 1984 and then quit, cold- turkey. He always smoked filter cigarettes, usually Kent's; and did not smoke Raleigh's ever (to her recollection). As a result of his smoking habit, he had the usual stained teeth and fingers. She also commented that he always seemed "fascinated" about the D.B. COOPER legend; but never initiated the conversation about it, and always seemed to have a quick answer to whatever was brought up about it. [REDACTED] did also tell her that he did "night jumps" in Europe while in the Army; and sometimes bragged about a friend in the Bay area who had or owned a plane.
