Mr John Eyre, Spokesman F.B.I. 915 2nd Ave., Seattle, Wash.

Dear Mr Eyre:

Wire service stories quote you (o/about June 30) as still in- vestigating possible links between [REDACTED] and D.B. Cooper, revived again since [REDACTED] was captured using the name [REDACTED]

Outside of Westfield, it wouldn't be so obviously recognized that [REDACTED] beloved Church had a street address uncannily co- incidental to his new name or names (see below).

In another random co-incidence, an [REDACTED] was living at [REDACTED] in Westfield, [REDACTED] from the [REDACTED] in the same block be- cause of peculiarities in the Westfield numbering system, but whether [REDACTED] who would know now? Anyway, "D.B." Cooper sounds more like "Double Back" Cooper from the way he flew Portland to Seattle and back.

Westfield, N.J. July 9, 1989

[REDACTED] Westfield Leader 50 Elm Street Westfield, N.J.

---

[REDACTED] was found and arrested using the name [REDACTED] The initials [REDACTED] could also stand for [REDACTED] the man [REDACTED]

[REDACTED] is also suspected of being D.B. Cooper, the mysterious plane hijacker who vanished in Nov- ember 1971 shortly after [REDACTED] himself disappeared.

[REDACTED] beloved Church and [REDACTED] were located at the intersection of [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] [REDACTED] here in Westfield.

With a twist of the tongue and a one-letter spelling change, the Church address becomes [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]

Could [REDACTED] as part of his aberrant fanatacism, have chosen his Church's address as the nucleus of one or more new identities?

Yours very truly,

---
