[REDACTED] advised she knew "JACK" COFFELT to be a "con man and a braggart" and advised she could never really trust anything he would say or tell her. She did, however, comment it was her opinion COFFELT had a mentality of being well capable of thinking up the Norjak scheme, although she acknowledged her opinion may have been largely formed by the various magazine articles.

---

Memphis Division has communicated telephonically with the Seattle Division and is aware COFFELT was formerly considered as a suspect concerning captioned matter and was subsequently eliminated from further consideration. The facts concerning that elimination were discussed during referenced telcalls. The enclosed information is therefore being submitted for review and for general information purpose, at the present time. It is noted [REDACTED] appears to be a very stable person and would cooperate fully with the FBI should additional contact with her be required.

---

Memphis Division continues captioned matter in pending status based upon a separate request received from the Seattle Division in a communication, dated 8/7/89, requiring investigation at Centerville, Tenn.
