Memorandum

To : SAC, SEATTLE (164A-SE-81) (P) Date 6/10/92

From : SA [REDACTED]

Subject: NORJAK OO: SEATTLE

ARMED AND DANGEROUS

---

Re [REDACTED] ("Unsolved Mysteries" lead).

[REDACTED] was suggested as a possible suspect in this matter as the result of an anonymous telephone call received by the television show "Unsolved Mysteries." The only reason given that [REDACTED] should be considered a suspect was that he is an expert parachute jumper.

It was learned through investigation that [REDACTED] is five feet eight inches tall and has a stocky build. In view of the fact that UNSUB has been described as six feet tall with medium build, it appears unlikely that [REDACTED] is identical with UNSUB in this matter. In addition, there is no reference made to a reward by the anonymous caller as would have been done if the caller had specific information which would indicate [REDACTED] was identical with UNSUB. This appears to be a supposition call by someone in the Klamath Falls, Oregon area who remembered [REDACTED] and remembered the fact that he was a parachute jumper.

In view of the above, no further investigation will be conducted concerning [REDACTED] at this time.
