Synopsis: Information received from [REDACTED]
---
Enclosure(s): Enclosed for Seattle is a 1-A containing Agent's notes and a 1-A containing photocopies of a note from [REDACTED]
Details: On 6/2/03, [REDACTED] came into the CRRA and advised that his father, [REDACTED] knows a FNU [REDACTED] and knows where the "money" is. [REDACTED] said he had access to the money and he wanted [REDACTED] to go with [REDACTED] to retrieve it. [REDACTED] is currently incarcerated and will be released if [REDACTED] writes an affidavit in support of [REDACTED] concerning his current charges. [REDACTED] advised that [REDACTED] has done serious time over the years.
[REDACTED] said the money is someplace remote and they would have to hike to retrieve it. [REDACTED] told [REDACTED] that in the late 60s to early 70s [REDACTED] hijacked a plane and hid the money. [REDACTED] did not say how much money. [REDACTED] tends to believe his father this time because he was somewhat specific about [REDACTED] and the money, although [REDACTED] has lied to him in the past.
[REDACTED] did not know [REDACTED] when he was growing up. They first met in person in 2001 in Oklahoma when [REDACTED] went to visit [REDACTED]. During the visit, [REDACTED] was arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine. They had previously spoke on the phone in 1994. [REDACTED] knew that [REDACTED] was wanted and contacted the FBI at that
