ReButel, 11/1/76, authorizing use of hypnosis in interview of [REDACTED] California, to enhance her memory of an August, 1976, conversation regarding a skyjacking believed to involve NORJAK.

[REDACTED] was interviewed under hypnosis on 11/3/76 by [REDACTED] at his office in Beverly Hills, California. SA [REDACTED] who is trained in hypnosis, conducted the pre-induction interview to acquaint [REDACTED] with the technique of hypnosis. Case Agent [REDACTED] was present during the interview. A waiver was obtained from [REDACTED] and the session was tape recorded.

[REDACTED] responded to [REDACTED] induction technique and entered a medium-light state of hypnosis. Once [REDACTED] was hypnotized and regressed to the date in question, [REDACTED] turned hypnotic rapport over to SA [REDACTED] The information [REDACTED] had previously furnished was then reviewed with her in detail and she supplied essentially the same information about the August, 1976, conversation she had given earlier in the investigation.

While under hypnosis, [REDACTED] also supplied entirely new information as follows:
