On 11/16/84, [REDACTED] Los Angeles Police Department, [REDACTED] telephonically advised that he had recently received information from a confidential source pertaining to the possible whereabouts of captioned subject, and based upon the source information, had identified the individual in question as [REDACTED] California operators license number [REDACTED] requested that a copy of the artist conception of the unknown subject in captioned matter be forwarded to him for comparison to the California driver's license which had been requested from the Department of Motor Vehicles regarding [REDACTED]

[REDACTED] stated he would arrange for his informant to meet with appropriate FBI personnel should an identification of [REDACTED] be confirmed as positive with that of the unknown subject in captioned matter.
