Re: D. B. Cooper

Gentlemen:

On Monday, March 13, 1972, at about 4:25 p.m. I called your office to advise that two or three weeks ago I ran across the name "D. B. Cooper" in a Grays Harbor County Superior Court case.

I am enclosing a copy of the return of service which is on file in that case. The original signature is still in the clerk's file and is signed in ink.

I felt probably this wouldn't be of any benefit to you or that someone else would have reported the circumstances, but finally con- cluded that I should at least make it known to you.

Yours very truly,

L. Edward Brown
