[REDACTED] was contacted at Sandy Hut Bar and Restaurant, 1430 N.E. Sandy Boulevard. He was immediately advised of the identity of the interviewing agents by SA [REDACTED]. He was advised that he was being con- tacted regarding an official investigation being conducted by the Portland Division of the Federal Bureau of Investiga- tion (FBI) pertaining to the hijacking of a Northwest Boeing airliner from Portland to Seattle on November 24, 1971.

[REDACTED] was advised by SA [REDACTED] that it had been called to the attention of the FBI in Portland that he had been passing a large amount of currency and had been identi- fied by an off-duty Portland Police officer in the Sandy Hut Bar and Restaurant as resembling the composite photograph of the unknown subject in this hijacking. Thereafter [REDACTED] advised as follows:

"I and [REDACTED] in the Portland area from White Salmon, Washington, [REDACTED]

[REDACTED]

[REDACTED]. I am aware of the Federal statutes and will be filing a false arrest suit as a result of being questioned by FBI Agents."

[REDACTED] was advised by SA [REDACTED] that he was not being detained in any manner and was not obliged to be in- terviewed by Agents of the FBI if he was not desirous of interview. Thereafter [REDACTED] furnished the following as identification:
