SAC DALE KELL, Little Rock Division, telephonically contacted SA [REDACTED] this date and advised that he had been contacted by former AUSA [REDACTED] /who stated that he, [REDACTED], had been contacted by a [REDACTED] who wanted to know if the reward for D. B. COOPER was still outstanding. Evidently, [REDACTED] has told [REDACTED] that he has a friend whom he would not name who knows the identity of COOPER.
---
SA [REDACTED] advised of above. SA [REDACTED] states that the reward program originally offered by Northwest Airlines no longer exists, however, the Royal Globe Insurance [guess: Company] of New York, N. Y., will negotiate a reward. They will not, however, talk with anyone until they have first talked with the FBI.
---
This information was telephonically furnished to Night Clerk at Little Rock, who was going to advise SAC KELL.
