FOIA exemption codes indicating redaction of personal identifying information (b6 - personal privacy, b7C - law enforcement personal privacy, b7D - confidential source). The letter writer states they do not know more about a man they previously mentioned, acknowledges it could be a wild goose chase, but suggests the FBI check the person's record and fingerprints if it might help. Closing of the letter with the writer offering contact information (redacted) and noting they have no phone. A mailing address was provided but is redacted. Fragment of a sentence, partially redacted, indicating the writer or the suspect spends a good deal of time somewhere. Bates number stamp for FBI FOIA document tracking.
