NORJAK

During the investigation of the NORJAK case and specifically the ground search in the vicinity of Woodland, Washington, the services of a large number of police officers were utilized in the search.

In addition, Mr. JOE MAY, the Chief of Police in Woodland, furnished his own aircraft, flew it himself to assist in the search.

The purchase of gasoline was for MAY's aircraft. The food purchased was for the officers who were assisting in engaging in the search. They had no means of being reimbursed from their own funds.
