Dear [REDACTED]:

We have your letter of July 22, 1976 inquiring about a reward in connection with the hijack of a Northwest Airlines aircraft on November 24, 1971.

Please be advised that you are offered a reward of $25,000 for the arrest and conviction of the hijacker of Northwest Flt. 305 on November 24, 1971. The offer of this reward remains valid through December 31, 1976.

Be advised that we do not have a tape recording of the hijacker's voice.

I would urge you to contact the FBI office in Seattle, Washington with any information that you have relating to the identity of the hijacker. No portion of the reward will be paid unless and until there is an actual arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved.

If you have any further question regarding this offer, please contact me.

Very truly yours,
