On 11/28/71 [REDACTED], Cosmopolitan Motor Inn, advised that while on duty at the Cosmopolitan a man, looking very much like the hijacker, checked into the motor inn at about 8:00 pm on 11/26/71. The man paid for his room in cash and would not let [REDACTED] handle a briefcase he was carrying. The man was also in possession of additional luggage and was driving what appeared to be a rental car, which he parked himself.
