It has been brought to my attention that your "Mr. Cooper" is indeed very much alive. It may be that the story told to me is a tale (because the person who told me this story is indeed a known teller of tales, most of which are untrue), yet, this one is so extreme, yet so exacting that I tend to believe he in fact is "D.B. Cooper". However, he has not admitted that he is Cooper, only [REDACTED].
His name is: [REDACTED] known as [REDACTED] Oregon Address: [REDACTED] (his sometimes address) Telephone: [REDACTED] Employed [REDACTED]
His story is that [REDACTED] after the skyjacking and tried to figure out where someone "that crazy" would drop and/or hide the money. He said [REDACTED].
The money is hidden at or near [REDACTED], Clackamas County, OREGON. The telephone number of [REDACTED] and I believe it is so well hidden somewhere there that only he could lead you to it. I suspect that it is more uphill and almost buried under thickets. I believe [REDACTED].
When I told him that he was crazy because the FBI had been looking for the money in or around Vancouver, he said [REDACTED] [REDACTED] Once the light went on in the plane indicating that the door was open, no one knew where Cooper jumped.
[REDACTED], and probably knows how to use a parashoot. [REDACTED] He would know all about what Cooper needed to know [REDACTED].
