For the information of Seattle, at approximately 9:47 a.m., 1/29/79, an anonymous mature female contacted the Portland office and asked to speak with the Agent in charge. She was referred to SA [REDACTED], and at that time furnished the following information:
She has some information pertaining to a case in which the FBI has an interest. She asked if SA [REDACTED] had a pencil and paper, and when he replied affirmatively, she stated "Well copy down this information." SA [REDACTED] asked her to what the information pertained, and she advised it pertained to a case in which the FBI has an interest, that she had tried to give the information to the Los Angeles Police Department last year, but they did not seem interested. She then said write down "Western Academy of Films, 845 Beech Avenue, British Columbia, telephone 685- 1718." [REDACTED]
