Hand-drawn sketch of a piece of paper containing a shovel illustration, with an arrow pointing at it. A handwritten letter addressed to the FBI from an unknown member of the public, asking whether the demand note in the Cooper hijacking looked like a drawing of a shovel on graph paper, with a torn right side and the middle of the shovel depicted on it. FBI FOIA exemption codes b6 (personal privacy) and b7C (law enforcement personal privacy) applied to redacted portions. FBI Vault page identification stamp for the D.B. Cooper case file. Two black redaction boxes obscuring what is likely the sender's name and address, redacted under b6/b7C exemptions.

Handwritten letter in mixed case, generally legible
Two redaction boxes at bottom of page obscure names/addresses
