RE: SUSPECT GARY E. SANDAL

On November 26, 1971, I called SA [REDACTED] at Chicago at 12:30 p.m. I advised him that SANDAL was developed as a suspect because of a conversation he had had with a crew of a Northwest Airline 727. SANDAL is employed as an air traffic controller at Rockford, Illinois. He was fingerprinted by the Civil Service Commission on June 3, 1970, and has FBI # 937638D. I asked him to endeavor to obtain a photograph of SANDAL immediately, and if obtained, contact the office here so we could determine what disposition would be made of it.
