RE: Suspect No. 29 JAMES D. BOOTH.

---

On 12-7-71, [REDACTED] advised that JAMES D. BOOTH signed aboard the SS WASHINGTON MAIL on 10-21-71 out of Seattle and was at sea until 11-22-71 when it returned to the Port of Seattle and he signed off at that time. [REDACTED] advised that BOOTH signed on again the same day and was at sea between 1:47 PM, 11-23-71 and 11-25-71. He advised the SS WASHINGTON MAIL was somewhere between Portland, Oregon and Tacoma, Washington during the day of 11-24-71. [REDACTED] advised that BOOTH works directly under [REDACTED].

In view of the above, BOOTH should be eliminated as a suspect in this matter.
