What does the scan show?
A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

RE: [REDACTED] - SOURCE
---
On 4/24/72 I talked to SA [REDACTED] at the Bureau. I told him that I had [REDACTED] in this matter very thoroughly. There were a number of obvious discrepancies.
First, [REDACTED] reflected the first move of the hijacker was made after they were aloft 10 minutes. I told him this was not accurate since it was made while the plane was still on the ground.
Second, the flight was Northwest Flight 405, not 305, as [REDACTED] indicated.
Third, the passengers were allowed to alight from the front steps, not as [REDACTED] says, the back.
Fourth, the money was taken in a sedan, not a small bus, as [REDACTED] says.
Fifth, the wind was a west wind blowing east, not an east wind as [REDACTED] says.
---
I told him that the photograph of the man in the street was positively taken in Bremerton. Further, we had located a witness who said about 4 or 5 weeks ago 3 men came into a wig shop, got a wig, put it on a bald-headed man, took a photo- graph, and she identifies the picture as being of that man.
---
Further, [REDACTED] had told us on viewing this picture of the man in the street that she believed he was identical with the man at her residence on 4/21/72, and [REDACTED] had seen him at the residence on 4/22/72 and he w[as] there again this morning, to be bitten by her Weimaraner dog.
---
/64-8/-[guess: 8970] I told him that we had been unable to locate [REDACTED] but that we were still continuing our efforts to do so and we were expanding our efforts to identify the man in the wig in the street.
