MEMBERSHIP CONTRACT

I UNDERSTAND that TALENT PLUS is a cooperative, non-profit organization whose members promise to assist each other in the pursuit of gainful employment.
IN CONSIDERATION of the mutual promises of the members, I AGREE:
1. That I will submit to TALENT PLUS the Membership fee of $10.00 immediately upon my receipt of notice that I have been accepted for Membership (acceptance will remain valid for a period not to exceed 2 weeks after issue.)
2. That the Monthly dues for Active Members are $2.00 and my first months's dues will accompany this application. (Applicants accepted after the 20th of the month will be credited with the following month's dues.) That I will pay my monthly dues, without reminder, before the 10th calendar day of each calendar month and if not so paid, I will pay a delinquency charge of $2.00.
3. That I will contribute a minimum of 2 full days of my time per business week to assigned TALENT PLUS duties.
4. That I will attend the scheduled Weekly Business Meeting of TALENT PLUS, and I further agree that should I miss 3 or more meetings, without reasons acceptable to the President, within any 3 month period, I will be subject to suspension from mem- bership in TALENT PLUS.
5. That I will be bound by and comply with the rules and regulations, procedures, policies, By-Laws and Amendments thereto, and the Articles of Incorporation of TALENT PLUS.
6. That I authorize TALENT PLUS to communicate with any or all of the references and former employers named in this application, and that I authorize those persons or companies to give TALENT PLUS any information they may have regarding me whether or not it is on their records.
7. That this application shall be acted on promptly and that should it not be approved the $2.00 payment will be retained by TALENT PLUS to defray expenses.
In signing this application I acknowledge that I have read it, that I hereby accept and agree to its terms and requiements for membership, that all statements I have made herein were made for the purpose of inducing TALENT PLUS to accept me as a member, and that my statements are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief.
