RE: JESS LEROY TERHUNE

Re Seattle letter to Portland dated 11/13/72.

For information of Seattle, an Oregon State Police Officer suggested as a suspect in this matter an unidenti- fied individual he knew to have a criminal background and to have been interested in sky diving. Investigation identi- fied the suspect as TERHUNE, who does not fit the descrip- tion of Unsub in this matter. However, TERHUNE's photograph was used in display of photographs of other suspects to Portland witnesses, who eliminated him.

No further investigation concerning TERHUNE being conducted.
