Re Seattle report of SA [REDACTED] dated b6 5/30/73. b7C [handwritten: 164-81-10(440)] Enclosed for the Bureau, Detroit, and Seattle is one 1973 passport photograph for each of DONALD GORDON WRIGHT.

ADMINISTRATIVE:
Since the successful hijacking of Northwest Airlines (NWA), Flight 350 on 11/24/71, WFO has been cognizant of the details of the matter and has been aware of descriptive data concerning Unsub. In this regard, WFO has considered the possibility that Unsub may be an American citizen living abroad inasmuch as his absence, whether he is dead or alive, has apparently been unnoticed, or at least not reported, by his relatives and associates.
Accordingly, during a recent routine review of Passport Records at the United States Department of State, (USDS), Washington, D. C. (WDC), it was noted that the passport photograph of one DONALD GORDON WRIGHT, white male, 41, bears a good resemblance to the artist's conception of Unsub.
A further review of WRIGHT's passport file dis- closed the following information: /6 4- 81- 4[REDACTED] On 2/12/68, he was issued Passport Number J231478 and requested that his passport be mailed to 8129 East 9 Mile Road, Warren, Michigan, 46089 in care of Fab-Tec Company.

He listed his occupation as "engineer" and his permanent address as G-2270, North Belsay Road, Flint, Michigan. WRIGHT listed his proposed travel as "to visit Germany and Italy" and indicated he expected to take another trip abroad within one year. His passport application also reflected he was never married and described him as a white male, born 2/12/32 at Saginaw, Michigan, 6 feet, 1 inch, brown hair, and blue eyes. His 1968 passport picture depicted him as a conservative dresser in that he was wearing a plain suit, white shirt, and narrow black tie.
---
On 2/12/73, WRIGHT appeared at the Office of the American Consulate, Stuttgart, Germany, and executed another passport application since his previous passport, which was valid for 5 years, had expired. This application was executed in WRIGHT's own handwriting and reflected his date of birth as 2/12/32 and his place of birth as "Saganaw, Michigan." He listed his permanent address as 24507 Colin Kelly, Centerline, Michigan and the person to be notified in the event of death or accident as his father, THOMAS I. WRIGHT, G-2270 North Belsay Road, Flint, Michigan. He indicated his mother was deceased.
---
This second application reflected that his birth certificate had been seen by passport officials and he listed his current address as Plochingen/N., West Germany. He indicated he was residing abroad for employment reasons and listed his Social Security Number as 383-28-1590. This application also reflected his employment as an engineer and indicated that he was never married.
---
It is noted that WRIGHT, in his handwritten appli- cation, wrote the number 7 with a slash through same, ie, European style.
---
A check with the FBI Identification Division failed to disclose any fingerprint record, civil or criminal, for WRIGHT based upon the above information.
---
A review of Poor's Directory and Dunn and Bradstreet Reference Book failed to disclose a listing for a Fab-Tec
